After dispatching the Clannfears the group debated what kind of person we were sneaking up on.

Hearing or seeing nothing, we decided to have a look at the opposite door (the one that was locked before) and notice a skull with glowing eyes. Terfir speaks to the skull and it speaks back. "Command me and gain entry".

After we tried a couple of random words, we decided to consult our ....lore.

We do find some mad ravings, the text of which contains:

Searching some more:

Turns out that all we had to do was tell the door to "shut up". Right about that time she called us interlopers and ranted about her dead son - so we pushed Terfir forward in order to "bring Lysandis back".

Nulfaga needs revenge. Sweet sweet revenge. And to do so she summons Teromeda Theoseus for protection. Meanwhile, Casts-No-Shadows sneaks up to the second balcony.

After a bit of negotiation, we manage to diffuse the situation and provide Nulfalga with the supplies that we'd brought her and get Teromeda up-to-speed on the current situation. She calms Nulfaga down, and we are able to rest and have a nice meal in the place.

We head back, and stop by a battlefield on the way back to try and investigate. We find a desecrated shrine to Arkay.

After a longer journey we make it back to Daggerfall, and go for an audience with the royalty, and find the King and Queen arguing with Lady Brisienna Magnessen. She was told off by the King and she was left out of the court.

We gave the queen an update on Nulfalga, and she rewards us with the cart, horses, and free room-and-board nearby.

After getting changed, we headed out to find Lady Brisienna to discuss what happened and where she's headed. Turns out she's heading to stay with the Orcs in the event that someone sends assassins after her.

That night, we go out ghost hunting - we do manage to find a single soldier ghost who did not notice us until we got close enough to it to see its shield. It attacked Leanne. We did not see any sign of "nefarious activity", but the word "Vengeance" kept ringing out, sounding like it was coming from all around but distant.

A few days later Leanne received a note from Queen Abuk-i instructing the group to go meet her in the throne room. We're given another quest to head to Castle Necromoghan in order to find out what messages the Dagger Queen is sending disptaches to.

Travel to Castle Necromoghan and see what the heck is going on. There will be soldiers who we may encounter, and we are not to kill them.
