Previous Session: 11 Ancient History || Next Session: 13 A Lot of BnE
We get onto the ship and we tell Arvel that we're heading to Balmora.
Casts-No-Shadow uses 2 magicka to get a vision of the future:
One vision has you seeing the palace of Sentinel, down deep into the catacombs with Egyptian style ruins. There's a skeleton in Robes, who looks over at him. The vision skips over to Castle Wayrest, down into the catacombs, and there's a treasury filled with loot.
He goes to tell Terfir Lif and mentions that he thinks he might have found the Underking, and that we should go deal with that after our trip.
The weather is cloudy and looks like there's a storm on the horizon.
Skill Use
Leanne makes a lore check She remembers that there's a thing called the adamantine tower. It's the oldest known structure on Tamriel.
We take a quick boat trip to the shore (Kihra uses Sail
), and then we have to scale some rocks to get to the edge.

After reaching the top, Terfir notices a magical signature off in the distance, which appears to be something akin to a Forsworn camp.
Kihra and Casts decide to scout the camp.
Challenge
Sneak! Casts: Success Kihra: Success
We see mostly women in the camp, including one Argonian, as well as some charred remains in the middle of the camp.
After a bit of introspection we figure out that they're planning on talking to the Daedra via a communion ritual. We head back to tell Terfir, who is delighted, and she and Casts-no-Shadow decide to head down to the camp to talk to the Daedra worshippers.
Skill Use
Terfir uses Speech to talk our way into the camp.
Shortly after we're allowed into the camp, Morna appears and greets Terfir Lif.
Casts and Terfir determine it's safe, and invite the others into the camp.
While we're all together, Morna keeps staring at Leanne. She tells her it's because there is something weird about her aura, and it has to deal with Julianos the Divine.
Leanne agrees to undertake a "trip", where Hermeus Mora grants her a vision that her family comes from a long line of witch covens, and we also discover that Terfir ate Leanne's grandma after we killed her.
While all of this is going on, Casts mentions to Morna why we're here - and she mentions that the nobles of Sentinal know how to access the tower.
In order to get back to the island, Casts learns Mark/Recall from Morna, but in exchange he has take part in an experiment with a Breton witch that involves an Argonian butler outfit.
Using his newfound ability, he casts mark at the camp, and the group decides to go check out the tower.
Kihra decides that she wants to scale the tower, but before she does so she checks for traps while climbing
Skill Use
Kihra uses perception and sees that the doors and passages are carved with runes that might set off some spells.
Meanwhile Casts uses Detect Life and Clairvoyance to establish a connection with Medora, confirming that she's in the tower, and is cursed so that she cannot leave. She also confirms that Derenni blood is required to get into the tower - so we head back to Sentinel to acquire some of that blood.
We tell Prince Lhotun that we need some Derenni blood to get into the tower, and he informs us that they are keeping some High Elves in the prison - and one of them might be a Derenni.
So, we must go talk to his Mother, Queen Akorithi. She asks us to do the following:
Quest
We are to retrieve a painting from Castle Wayrest. A very pretty painting that they stole from the battle somehow.
Before we head out of the city, we stop and have a talk with Rahana Hammuoni and we get a nice blessing from Nocturnal, though we must not get into a conflict or it will be lost.
Next session, we'll be doing a little light B&E.
